Timegg presents four time-functions bundled into a single, graphically very extravagantly designed app. The fun begins with the “alarm” on the classic alarm clock. It can be set for each day of the week and the user may choose if he would like to wake up to a sound or to music. A snooze function will slowly sound the alarm, so that the sleeper is not awakened too abruptly. Eight different alarm settings may be predefined and subsequently it only takes a tap with the finger to set the alarm.
The user may also set up a “reminder” for tasks that need to be done on a regular basis – like drinking 30 oz of water every day. A really great feature is “D-Day”. The user is able to input important dates and Timegg will count down the remaining days to the event – for example to the beginning of a vacation, various holidays or someone’s own birthday. The app is able to monitor eight different events, that can be retrieved individually.
Last but not least, there is also a “Timer” that can be programmed for short countdowns and may replace the egg timer. It could be used to monitor the time for brewing tee or baking a pizza. Once a timer is set, it can be used again and again.
