The game “Temple Run” is back – featuring sensational, high-resolution retina graphics plus many new ideas. This time the player starts out the course as Merida. Merida? Right, that’s the character from the new Disney-Pixar animated movie. Even the scenery of the game is based on the movie
The universal app features a tutorial that shows how to change the direction, jump and slide under obstacles. The character moves through the course by itself, just like in the iconic predecessor of the game. The player has to try everything possible so Merida does not fall into any canyons, doesn’t get caught by monsters or runs head first into any obstacles. That sounds pretty easy – but its not.
New to the game is the archery mode. It allows the player to shoot at special targets on the side of the path in order to collect additional points.
