“PhotoCool” lets the user quickly jazz up photos on the iPhone or iPad, before they are sent out or posted online in a social network. The images that are to be processed may be imported from the photo gallery or can be newly taken right from within the app.

The app displays the picture on the screen. It introduces numerous effects directly below the image and lets the user review them in a thumbnail preview.
