Formula One, anyone can do that. So, to prove the point – at least on the virtual race track – the user should take a seat in one of the super-fast cars featured in “RaceRally 3D”.

The action is being displayed in 3D. The player has the choice to switch back and forth between multiple camera angles. The 3D Open GL graphics seem a bit anemic – there is definitely something better out there when it comes to racing games. The control of the cars is not that easy. The user has to deal with three pedals on the right hand side of the screen. On the left hand side a small steering wheel actually needs to be turned with the finger to keep the car on the asphalt.

However, the game features some exciting races in either the “Race & Chase”, “Countdown” or “Timer” mode. The opponents are being controlled by the computer.

Conclusion:
“RaceRally 3D” has to face the competition – and it can’t quite pull it off. The gameplay is a bit tricky, the graphics are average at best. There are better games out there.
