Every year the iTunes Festival is taking place. Top artists such as Angus and Julia stone can be seen live on the iTunes Stage. With the right app the concerts may be viewed on all Apple mobile devices – for free. For anyone that has missed the live performance, at least the recorded footage will be available.

This year the festival is being held in September 2012, at London’s Roundhouse. To go with the scheduled event, the app has been updated and is being newly introduced to the App Store.

The app is already familiar with the current program and displays a schedule of the performing artists. This year we can look forward to watching Usher, Charli XCX, Norah Jones, Olly Murs, Plan B, Pink, Andrea Cocelli and Jack White – just to mention some of the featured artists. A timely push alert will draw attention to upcoming concerts.

Conclusion:
Finally a great idea. Apple is hosting a series of free concerts and all fans may have front row seats when using their iPhone or iPad.
