The initial introduction of the computer game “Pitfall” took place in 1982. Now, 30 years later, ActiVision brings back the classic as an “Endless Runner” – completely modernized and fit for the iPhone and the iPad.
The player is in charge of Pitfall Harry, who is equipped with a hat and whip, trying to escape the destructive force of an erupting volcano. He is dashing along a narrow path over cliffs and through the jungle. While Pitfall Harry is on the move he has to overcome deadly canyons, poisonous snakes and other adversities, being helped along by the courageous player. Different swiping movements let the character jump, duck, crack the whip or change direction.
“Pitfall” not only convinces with magnificent graphics and a strong gameplay, but also with changing perspectives. It makes the game very exciting.
