Why is the price in AppZapp different to the price in the App Store?
We find price changes really quick. Sometime so early that the App Store Caches dont catch up. Then the price flickers between the old and the new price until all caches are updated. This takes from a couple of minutes up to several hours. Sadly we cannot influence this behaviour. Just check back later to see the right price in the App Store too.
Why is there advertising in the pro version? (Pro vs Free)
the Difference between the free and pro version is based on features.
In the pro version you have the following additional features:
1.) Wishprice: Here you can define a price that should an app reach before we alert you about it
2.) Translation of comments by users from different countries
Global filters don’t work in the news section. Is this intended?
Yes this is intended, because this section in manually build and not yet categorized.
AppZapp crashes often. What can I do?
Try to find out the cause of what crashes AppZapp. Something like: “Always when I try to do X or when I press Y”
If you have a clue what it can be send us this info under “Settings > Feedback”
What is the difference between “Follow” and “+Friend”
The Friendship is the stronger connection and includes the follow. If you follow an user you can see all his public activities like comments, likes or collections. Anything else is for friends only.
Can I sort a search result by rankings?
We are not able to do so right now, due to technical difficulties. But we will keep it in mind.
Can I switch off push notifications about friends requests?
Just go to “Settings > AppZapp Account > Notifications”.

Can I recover my inApp purchases after deleting AppZapp
Sure. Just trigger the buying process again. Apple will recognize that you have already bought it and won’t charge you again.
I don’t like ads. Can I remove them?
Sure. Go to “Settings > Extensions” and trigger the according inApp purchase.
What about those monsters?
The monsters come from our first design. We removed them in a later version by default. You can revice them under “Settings > Menu & Themes” if you like them more.
Where can I switch off eMail notifications?
You can switch them off under “Settings > AppZapp Account”
